Moses' exhortation concludes with the offer of the blessing for obedience and the curse for disobedience. Even though Israel would choose the pathway of disobedience, the LORD, the Rock, promises a future restoration and change of heart.

Israel demonstrated a period of unsual obedience at the foot of Sinai, but this period would soon be followed by outright rebellion. God gave them the Nazirite vow to signify what He wanted from them. Only one man would live up to God’s desire for dedication unto Him, Jesus. He is the true Israel and the true Nazirite.
