God gave a commandment to Abram to leave his family, country, and home to go to an unknown place. It was hard enough for Abram to leave the comforts of his family, country, and home. It was even harder for Abram to not know the actual final destination. But Abram trusted and obeyed God. And God also promised Abram that God would make him and his family into a great nation, God’s chosen nation.
