God and His people are in a covenant now. Israel will be His people if they obey His covenant. God then says He will be among His people. What will that look like?

God tells the Israelites that if they obey Him and keep His covenant, then they will be His own possession among all the peoples and a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. The Israelites must be different from the nations around them. Let’s read the Ten Commandments God gave to His people.

We saw God rescue the Israelites from slavery and keep them safe from the Egyptian army. They are now at Mt. Sinai where Moses receives words from God to tell the people. What words will such a mighty and powerful God say to them? Let’s find out!

How will the Israelites survive in the wilderness? They made it through the Red Sea only by God’s power, but will they trust in the LORD who delivered them from Egypt?

With the sons of Israel out of Egypt, where will they go on foot? Will the Egyptians regret letting them go from Egypt?

Will Pharaoh let the people of Israel go? We learn of the last plague that God sent to Egypt and also about the Passover.

God shows His power to Pharaoh, the Egyptians, Moses & Aaron, and the sons of Israel. Even now, today, we get to learn of God’s power displayed by the many plagues that God sent. God is powerful over the earth and sky, AND all those who are within it. If so, when God gives us His commands, should we be like Pharaoh or like Moses?

Have you ever had a job before?  Today, we’re going to learn about a job that God gave to Moses and what that job was!
