Peter warns believers that the devil is a real adversary who seeks to devour them. Christians must therefore remain alert and resist him by standing firm in their faith.
Though suffering is real, it is also temporary. We can remain steadfast knowing that God uses suffering to strengthen His people, and that He has ultimate authority over all things.
