As Peter closes his first letter, he reminds believers that this world is not our permanent home. Though Christians will face trials and suffering, our hope is fixed on the future grace that will be revealed when Christ returns.
Peter’s final exhortation is to stand firm in the true grace of God. We are called to do this together as the church, united in our commitment to Christ and continuing in love for one another.
